          Synopsis of:

    "The Chapters Of Life"

  "The Chapters Of Life" are (60) letters of inspiration for the betterment of living life to the fullest. With over (250) Bible verses used from the New International Version of the Bible, this book is for the serious Christian. With the installation of humor, love, and serious Christian concepts given through the scriptures,"The Chapters Of Life" opens avenues for open heartedness and Holy Spirit inspirations.

  The letters were given to me in December of 2003 and in March 2004, Publish America and I were under contract as publisher and author. I have found inspiration through the letters in the troubled areas of life. Even after reading the book over and over through the editing process, "The Chapters Of Life" still speaks to my heart. I can relate life's situations to the letters and from the letters to the Word of God. And thus the truth of the Word is brought to life in me.

  You will find you can read the letters in "The Chapters Of Life" over and over again and see the love God has for us through His servants and the saints around the world. Letters of inspiration, words of truth, feelings of love, and heartfelt mercy through grace is the love our Father in Heaven has for us.And so was conceived;

"The Chapters Of Life".

                                                                        Letter 51

                                                 (From The Rising Of The Son)

     It was a dark and gloomy day. Our Lord was in the courts before the Sanhedrin and things did not look good. The talk in town was the people were in favor of the Lord and no one understood why He was arrested. I have followed my Lord for about 3 years now, and I have seen it all. If I could write all the things on paper He did, there would not be enough paper in the world. His ministry to me has been miraculous and all I am is a witness for the high priest, Caiaphas. Even though Caiaphas doesn't believe in Jesus being the Son of God, what I have witnessed has convinced me who He is. My reports to all the Sanhedrin have been positive, yet there is a lot of discrepancy on what they want to believe. I wonder if they think I'm out of my mind for telling them about some of the miracles I've seen.

   I followed Jesus and some of His followers into the hills last night.I kept hidden in the bushes where they could not see me. Jesus looked like He was in great pain and I think He somehow knew I was there. As I watched, Jesus went over into the woods away from the others and fell on His knees. I could hear Him moaning and thought I heard Him saying something. He was there praying. He stayed there for a little bit and then He went back over to the disciples. He got upset because they were asleep. I am pretty tired because it has been a long day, and looks to be even  a longer night. The disciples sat up for a little while and then Jesus went back into the woods. Again I went over as close as I dared, and I heard Him speaking. This time I heard Him saying something about a cup and I knew He was talking to God. I could hear Him plainly now and I heard Him call God, Father.

   I sat there a few hours and boy was I weary. Jesus prayed in agony for endless ages it seemed. I know when I pray it doesn't take all night. I have a pattern and I've gotten praying down to just a few minutes. I don't have to be up all night to get said what I want God to hear. Pretty smart,huh?

   No sooner did I finish my thoughts on prayer, and the Lord got up. He went over to the disciples again and this time His voice seemed a little sterner. The boys were tired and needed rest. Give them a break, I thought. I'm sure glad I don't have to go through this nonsense all the time. Once again, Jesus went back into the woods. I have never in all my days seen a man so devout to prayer. After a couple more hours, he returned to the disciples and said to them," Are you still sleeping and resting? Look the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise let us go! Here comes My betrayer!"                           Matthew 26:45-46

   There was this other guy the chief priests hired to keep a watch on Jesus, his name was Judas Iscariot. I saw him in the group that arrested Jesus. This will blow your mind. The man kissed Jesus! Now I know for a fact he was an enemy of the Lord's. I was there when he took the thirty silver coins to betray Him. It must have really taken some nerve to plant that kiss on Him. Oh, one more thing. The disciple named Peter drew his sword and cut off one of the chief priest's servant's ears. This will get you. Jesus picked up the ear and put it back on. Yes I say, put it back on! Now I know Caiaphas will never believe this.

   After they got Jesus into town, it didn't look good for Him. And they would not let me in to see what was going on. "Hey you. Have you heard anything about the Jew?" Oh no, not crucify Him. What has He done to deserve that? God forbid! I saw Jesus later as He was on His way up to Golgotha and it looked like a lion had attacked Him. His back was shredded and His face was all bloody. They even made Him carry His own cross. All I could think was; My God, what has He done to deserve this? I can see Mary, His mother, and a few of the disciples following Him up the hill. Lord, please have mercy.

   They nailed Jesus to that cross and hung Him up. I have never seen such a cruel way of crucifying anyone before. Well, thank God it is over. I hope Jesus is remembered and these poor people can go on with their lives again. It is a good thing they have a place to put His body because this happened so quickly. I have never seen the likes! Maybe the Passover will get everyone's mind off this terrible incident. I do hope so.

   It was after the Passover that I was called back to investigate the missing body of Jesus. I thought this nightmare was over and now the body is gone! Why don't they just quit! If these diciples are playing with our heads, I'll have every one of their necks on the chopping block. I talked to Mary Magdalene and a few of the diciples and they told me about the body being gone. They said an angel told them He was not there and that He has risen. Where do these people think I have come from, a nut farm? I heard the rumor Jesus was going to meet the disciples in Galilee, so I took the trip to find out for myself. I was on my way back to see Caiaphas when a crowd of people gathered up by this mountain. I looked, and there He was! It was Jesus, in the flesh! I doubted for a second, but I know what I saw. He spoke about His authority and what we should do as believers, and then He floated into the sky and disappeared.

I left that day never to see Caiaphas again. Do you believe me?
