WELCOME!
"Soulmate"
By: Charmane Rae Kelley
During my daughter's
first ten years,
I thought my soulmate
was someone else near.
Soon I was to know,
for that I would have
nothing to show;
all that time, her life,
blossoming each day;
sweet, warm, wondering
what it all meant;
I only regret there
wasn't more time spent;
getting to know her,
gazing deeper into
her young eyes;
being closer to
what was inside;
her feelings, joys,
hurts and questions;
I'm thankful now;
I saw my reflection.
