“I’ll tell you what’s going on Molly, you’re leaving.”

Growing up in a small town in Wyoming, Molly Kohler’s life, as a young beautiful teenager, was hard. With a large family, Molly had to work hard at helping care for them. Hardly anyone understood her, not her family, not even her boyfriend, Dave. They didn’t understand that she wanted to be a teenager. She didn’t want to grow up yet.

Though he tried desperately to understand her, Dave could not. He didn’t understand that Molly needed him not only for escaping her prison-like home, but she also needed to talk to someone who would be open, and honest.

The more Molly tried to escape her hard life at home, the more her mom seemed to pull her in. Still Molly would escape; she needed to escape, so she could maintain her sanity. Finally her mom could take no more, Molly had to move out with her older sister.

All of this would have been too much for Molly to handle, had it not been for Jared Thompson. Jared was Molly’s childhood friend. He was there when Molly needed him. He was there to help after Mrs. Kohler dealt out the punishments. He loved helping Molly, because for Jared he felt that no one else could help her like he could, but would Jared always be around to help Molly?

With all the drama that young teenagers face, it was getting hard for anyone to want to help Molly. She was starting to travel down paths that no one else wanted to follow. It was a path that would finally send her to jail. What will Molly’s family do this time? Will Jared be around to help her out of this? Will Molly ever realize that all she ever needed was Jared?
