Hello! I was born in Petoskey, Michigan, in 1960. In November of 1982 I entered the US Air Force. I served for the next twenty years as a medical technician. My various deployments and experiences gave me the inspiration to write my first book, Dark Autumn, which will be available about june/july 2005. The above picture is with my 9 month old male Siberian Husky, "Kodiak". As you can see, besides writing, I am getting into the fun world of sled dog racing also. I hope to be in some northern Michigan and U.P. races this winter. See you there, stop over and say hi! I am also a avid scuba diver. I love to dive to shipwrecks in the Great lakes, and take underwater photos. As you can see, I have a very active lifestyle!

I write each day, work my job, and train my three Siberian Huskies, Tundra, Aurora and Kodiak, for sled dog racing. We are both learning a lot! I am also planning my summer dives to various Great Lakes shipwrecks. Most of these dives will be in the Straits of Mackinac.
