About th Book

Michael was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He was adopted from St. Peters Orphanage in 1954 by James L. and Bettye Grisanti. His education was there. He graduated Bishop Byrne High School in 1973 and spent a big part of his life there. He then moved to Colorado, where he learned many things about his life. Upon his return to Memphis, he found that he was not able to find the answers that he was looking for. He was in search of these answers, when he met a Canadian woman, he decided to make the move to Canada, and this changed his life. The story is about how Grisanti’s new wife’s strength has changed his life. It is also about the abuse that his wife suffered at the hands of her father. It explores the differences and similarities in the two countries, examining both the strengths and weaknesses of each. Grisanti also addresses how the people of the U.S. view themselves, versus how the rest of the world views them. He talks about how his life has changed because of this as well. The story raises a lot of questions on many subjects that his views have changed about, because of the travels in his life.
