CAROL HAD HER BOOK SIGNING EVENT ON MAY 11, 2010 AT P.S. 65 IN OZONE PARK, NEW YORK.
THE EVENT WAS EXTREMELY INTERESTING. CAROL MET ALL SCHOOL CONSELORS FROM THE UTF (United Teacher's Federation) along with many teachers from that school, including Mr. Morales, the Principal.
After a beautiful luncheon, Ms. Pattie (the Book Club Coordinator) introduced her to all the book-club members. They had a beautiful poster welcoming Carol to their club and discussing her book. Carol answered questions and was so pleased to learn how everyone enjoyed her memoirs and endevors with her best friend, Yvonne. The book-club members were laughing and were having a wonderful time. Photos were taken of Carol signing each book and a beautiful letter will be written to the Board of Education by Marilyn, the head of ATF.
Everyone was so impressed by Carol, they now invited her to another book-signing event on June 17 to end the school year. This event will include all teachers and people from all the districts in Queens.
