Lucy Hollinger knows she has to escape.  Not only is her life in danger, but that of her baby son as well.  Everyday she lingers could be her last.  Her adversary is vicious and cruel, wily and determined:watching her every move.  She never knows where he might be hiding, watching, waiting. One mistake, an overlooked detail, could cost her her life.  Then, when her worst enemy turns up dead on her living room couch, Lucy believes the nightmare is finally over.  But, is it? Bouquets of buttercups, always Lucy's favorite flowers, begin appearing, bearing strange and sinister messages.  Could someone out there know what really happened?  If they did, what did they want?  A new adversary...this one unknown.  The Smell of Buttercups had always brought joy to Lucy's life.  What would they bring now?
