Biography

  

 Background Information

 Mr. Wolf was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York almost 50 years ago.  He enjoys reading, writing, painting, drawing, nature, science, history, military history, science-fiction, fantasy, science, movies, video games, paleontology, herpetology, travel, discovery, horseback riding, boxing, and a host of other things too numerous to mention here. He has been married for almost thirty years and has three beautiful children. He is currently employed by the MTA in New York City. He is a former employee of the NYPD. 

 Accomplishments

Designed the logo for the old Alexander's dept. store security staff, won the Emmett Cribbs award for short story writing, designed logo for NYC Transit Railroad Clerks uniforms, awarded the MTA NYC Transit Distinguished Service Medal, received award for “Outstanding Reporter” from transit news group, was acquisitions editor for science-fiction magazine (Offworld), has displayed and sold several of his paintings and photographs, some of which are displayed throughout the MTA. 

 Additional Information

Mr. Wolf is a terrorism survivor, a terrorism/counter-terrorism instructor and consultant, and will be teaching a course in Emergency & Crisis Management for a local university in the spring semester. He has been asked to conduct a seminar in crisis management at this same university in the summer.  He is also currently at work on his next novel, as well as a non-fiction book about terrorism.
