Haunted Heritage and Other

Stories

A Collection of Stories & Poems

Written by Albert Williams

This author/poet takes you on the most simplistic joyride journey

ever.” – Tempie, author of Feelings

This collection speaks to those who enjoy words

that wax poetic. Written in an easy-to-read style,

you’ll find each page a challenge to dissect and

explore. Albert Williams gives his readers

thought-provoking verses that enable us to view

the world and our relationships a bit differently.

Additionally, Williams’ short stories show us a

slice of life with characters who ‘feel’ real as we

read about them. Watch the elderly Leah as she

prepares a nearly dead (but not quite) chicken

for dinner. Listen to Dr. Alston’s diagnosis as an

exasperated Phillip declares, “This whole thing is

stranger than fiction.” Find out what the ‘Little

Lamb’ really is.

If you’re looking for a more eclectic read, try

Haunted Heritage and Other Stories by Albert

Williams. You won’t be disappointed.

TWO WINNING YEARS OF A PHOENIX
                                                  Oct 1st, 2006

ALBERT WILLIAMS JOURNALIST, FREE-LANCE REPORTER, LITERARY CRITIC, POET AND AUTHOR OF HAUNTED HERITAGE AND OTHER STORIES (PUBLISHAMERICA, ISBN 1-4241-0680-X)

The Phoenix symbolizes rebirth, especially of the sun, and has variants in European, Central American, Egyptian and Asian cultures. In the nineteenth century Hans Christian Anderson wrote a story about the phoenix. Edith Nesbit used a phoenix in one of her children's stories, as does J.K. Rowling. The most popular variant has the bird living in Arabia for 500 years at the end of which it burns itself and its nest, which, in the version of the ante-Nicene father Clement, is made of frankincense, myrrh and other spices. A new phoenix always rises from the ashes. Ancient sources on the mythological bird, besides Clement, are Ovid, Pliny, Tacitus and Herodotus.

Who is to say if this myth is true? Who is to question who is a Phoenix?
What is reality in the life of Albert Williams?

Reality is the fact Oct 1st marks a two year milestone in the life of Albert Williams.  A very humble man in spirit.  A man on a journey.  A man who has intrigued and captivated my heart with his love, intellect and endurance.  A man of whom I am writing his life’s story.

I’d like to stop in the process momentarily and join him in paying homage to a special day in his life! I invite each of you as well! A day to Celebrate! Oct 1st, 2006.  This day marks another big milestone!  Two years after returning to England and still winning!

We salute Oct 1st, 2006!

                         We salute your victories!

                                We salute YOU,

                      Albert Llewellyn Benoit Williams!
