Virgil Jones traveled extensively throughout the Middle East and lived in Beirut, Lebanon for a time during the fifteen years he was international marketing director for a large American corporation. He maintained a journal the full time and has used it, along with his experiences, to articulate  his writing. This is his third book, and it captures the essence of that diverse and complex land where religion and ancient history ordain the culture.
