A Trucker's Wife Marla Woolsey Contemporary romance Available from Publish America ISBN: #1-59286-532-1 September 2003
Katie O'Dell was a newlywed, still very much in love with her new husband of just four months. Then her world was turned upside down. Katie's husband was involved in a serious and tragic trucking accident which robbed him of his memory and his life up to that point. He had no idea who his new wife was, and because of his loss of memory and frustration, he left his home. Losing him like this would be enough to make any wife nuts but then something even worse happened... He fell in love with another woman. Katie still loved him more than anything and now she faced the future full of uncertainty and question... Do I try to win his love back? Do I try to bring him home again? Do I try to help him remember what we shared? And, if so, how should she go about doing all of this?
Katie faces the situation head on with a bravery that few could muster. Does it all pay off in the end? Read this wonderful novel and find out... you won't be sorry.
This is a delightful story that will tug at your heart strings. You will laugh, you will cry, you will sympathize with the loving Katie and root for her to win. The author did a superb job of making the characters so compelling to the average reader that you will find this one hard to put down. It's a little longer than I usually care for a novel to be but the extra length serves only to allow more enhancing details of the story to evolve.
