 About the Author
Katha Winther was born in Sherman, Texas. Her deceased father, Dean Martin  enjoyed having a famous name, and was the local County Attorney of Grayson Co. Texas for many years. Katha attended Grayson County college, and later graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in English. She continued her graduate studies in English at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. She was an editor in La Jolla, CA for seven years and has done freelance writing for a business, legal and real estate newspaper. She has written devotional articles on a regular basis for a magazine since 1994. Hobbies include reading, crocheting, yoga and singing. She has sung in a cappella choruses, and currently sings with a ladies trio. Katha has sung our national anthem for every professional team in San Diego. She has sung with a chorus on European tours and was honored to sing with a small group at the White House.
