I was born in Kassel Germany. I lived with my Grandparents til the age of twelve. At the beginning of World War II. I was evacuated into the country with my mother, sisters and brothers until the end of the war.  After the war I went through an apprenticeship for business.  A few years later I met my husband, who was in USAF intelligence. We married in 1954

 

 

 

and left for the United States. I received a degree in nursing and became a registered nurse in Pennsylvania. I have two children, a girl, who is a staff accountant and a boy, who is an air traffic controller. I also have four grandchildren. I was always interested in the arts. I loved painting and writing. I paint pictures in oil and water colors, write poems and stories. I keep a journal. I am retired now and active in Christian ministeries.
