David Compton received degrees from Bates and Brown and taught French and English (among other subjects) at New England private schools for 34 years. Three years in the military supplied the ideas for his first published novel, A Filthy Business. David and his wife Janet now live in a log home in Maine, where they enjoy retirement (time permitting!). His novel Nexus was published by PublishAmerica in February, 2004. He has also completed the sequel, Catalyst, and is working on a "prep school" novel entitled Claxton Hall, among other projects.
