D. L. Cocchio has had a love of writing since the age of 10. She is a published author and poet who enjoys reading, writing, crafts, and having her tarot cards read. She is a graduate of William Paterson University and holds degrees in Psychology and Education. Currently, Mrs. Cocchio is an Elementary School Teacher in NJ, where she lives with her husband, Gary, and daughter, Jen.
Her second book is currently being written and should be available in 2010. It is a sequel to Be Careful What you Wish For.

Debbie was the President of the PSI CHI Psychology Honor Society while in college, and Treasurer of the Psychology Club. She has won several awards for her work in Psychology Research in 2003 & 2004. The author has been a member of the IWWG - International Women's Writers Guild and SCWBI - The Society of Childrens Writers and Book Illustrators.
